The role of the Frames Business Developer is to drive and develop sales performance in the region for EssilorLuxottica eyewear brands. She/He would be the markets expert and should be able to communicate insights about trends as well as anticipate customers` needs.

The Frames Business Developer will be part of the sales team. She/He will be coordinating the correct implementation of marketing actions to boost sales out on the key doors.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand markets needs and ensuring customers satisfaction.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Being the market expert by having a constant insight about customers to be able to spot sales trends, negotiate brand visibilities & trade investments.

Present, promote, and sell products/services to both new and existing customers.

Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Negotiate brand visibilities and trade investments.

Continued market presence through regular visits to existing clients as well as new leads.

Forecast and monitor sales performances by brand and collection, gather market feedback, analyse trends and competitors’ strategies to identify new opportunities or areas for improvement.

Being involved in the preparation of sales budgets and forecast for each market.

The position will work closely with Trade & Brand Marketing Managers, as well as other members of the Sales Team and external agencies playing a key role in defining and implementing marketing activities for the region, setting priorities and supporting business targets.

Ensure the development and the correct display of EssilorLuxottica brands in all points of sales.

Coordinate with the marketing teams to ensure that promotions and activations are correctly implemented.

Ability to travel to key markets or with key customers to EssilorLuxottica sales events.

    

Main requirements:

 

Educational Background in Sales, Business or similar.

At least 3/5 years of experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role.

Experience in consumer goods industry, luxury and fashion products preferred.

Solid experience with MS Office software packages.

Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management..

Cultural understanding of retail market in the Sub-Saharan African region.

Highly motivated and target driven.

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

Dynamic and results-driven.

Proactive and creative approach.

Team worker and ability to receive and provide feedback.

Good analytical skills and detail oriented.​​​​​​​

Customer focused.

Willing to travel (max 50% of the time).

 

Language Requirements:

English Fluent in speaking and writing.

French Fluent in speaking and writing.
