Job Description:

We’re looking for a Fraud Analyst to join our Policy Admin services team at MBPS. This role monitors and investigates financial transactions and bank clients in order to detect irregularities, reduce fraud risks and mitigate financial loss to the bank. Act as point of contact when the team leader is out of office and also be responsible for floor support if needed. In this role, you are expected to monitor risk mediation, reporting, process enhancement, procedure administration, project management, and administration for Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the team mailbox and take the appropriate action depending on the case – might need to cancel the client access cards that were compromised or hold accounts.Prepare application for write off in order to reimburse a client for fraud lossFollow AML guidelines and ensure enhanced due to diligence is applied for Politically Exposed Person, High Risk Clients and Bank regulationsReview transactions through the available systems and perform EDD to determine if a transaction is deemed fraudulent and take necessary actions per procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's program with relevant work experienceExperience: At least two years of relevant experienceHybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:Experience in fraud and investigationExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to apply sound judgement with strong decision-making skills
