Fraud Analyst

At **Financial Partners Credit Union** , we’re looking for a **Fraud Analyst** to safeguard our members and their assets from fraudulent activity across multiple digital channels—including ACH, ATM/Debit/Credit Cards, and real-time payments like Zelle. As a **Fraud Analyst** , you'll play a crucial role in identifying suspicious activity, minimizing risk, and delivering excellent service to our members. If you enjoy problem-solving, investigating trends, and working collaboratively with a team dedicated to fraud prevention, this role is for you! **What You’ll Do:** + Detect & Prevent Fraud – Monitor fraud reports, risk alerts, and fraud detection systems to identify potential threats such as account takeovers, friendly fraud, and theft. + Minimize Losses – Take swift action by implementing account blocks, suspensions, and other risk mitigation strategies to protect both the credit union and our members. + Support & Educate Members – Provide compassionate and effective support to members navigating fraud claims, ensuring a smooth claims process and adherence to internal service level agreements. + Collaborate & Strategize – Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to implement fraud prevention measures and maintain fraud mitigation strategies. + Ensure Compliance – Process fraud claims and documentation in alignment with **Regulation E** and industry best practices. **What You Bring:** + A keen eye for detecting fraud patterns and trends across digital banking channels. + A detail-oriented and analytical mindset with the ability to multi-task across multiple computer applications. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide empathetic support to members. + Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including **Regulation E** . + A commitment to confidentiality and security in handling sensitive information. + Flexibility to work varying schedules, including after-hours, in an onsite/hybrid work environment. **Location:** Costa Mesa, CA **Education:** High School Diploma or G.E.D. required **Experience:** 2-3 years in eServices, Card Services, or Contact Center environments preferred. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
