Role Summary:

A Fraud Controls Strategist II monitors financial accounts and applications, investigating and acting on potential fraud. The ideal candidate should like working with datasets, reviewing multiple datasets, and correlating behaviors and looking for advanced trends.

 

What You Will Be Doing: Monitor and analyze card payment systems for fraudulent activity, act against fraud behaviors Analyze fraud data from multiple sources, create reports, and provide actionable results when needed Create and edit card fraud rules, collaborating with other departments, based on best practices Read and learn fraud industry news and regulatory developments; develop industry contacts Write suspicious activity reports Communicate with members using email, phone, letter, or in-person Recommend and implement improvements to the fraud prevention, detection, and response process Provide team member mentorship Remain current with fraud trends and learn new subject areas Promote payment risk and operational excellence culture across the business

 

About You: Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to easily manipulate and analyze datasets. Strong written and verbal communication skills Capable of leading small projects Must work independently and as part of a team Highly organized and able to prioritize well Mentor junior team members Ability to translate technical data and concepts to team members and the public

 

Certifications:

Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer, or other relevant certification highly preferred
