FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Fraud Investigation Manager to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid based in London.

The Fraud Investigation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire fraud investigation process, from identifying potentially fraudulent activities, to conducting in-depth investigations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This individual will lead a team of investigators, collaborate with other departments, and play a key role in reducing and preventing fraud within the organisation.

Responsibilities

Documenting requirements from the work as supervised by Principal and Senior Manager Support fraud investigations by maintaining detailed records and audit trails Assist in representing the fraud function at committee meetings Apply risk management principles and contribute to transformation initiatives Work within agile frameworks to support fraud-related change projects Collaborate with commercial, analytical, and technical teams to ensure alignment on fraud risk strategies Prepare presentations and reports for senior stakeholders and committees Help coordinate working groups and contribute to running fraud-related projects Lead and motivate a small team ensuring high-quality outputs and efficient workflows Maintain a strong team ethos working efficiently and accurately under pressure
