Freelance Account Manager (Advertising)

Role Summary:

As part of the Production Account Management team, this role offers the unique opportunity to work on the largest total beverage company in the world, managing the production scope for the Asean South Pacific (ASP) region, working with a diverse set of clients and seeing projects through end-to- end. 

As an Account Manager you are a leader within the Client Services department and are pivotal to the smooth running of the business with focus on delivering excellency in production quality and high levels of client service.

You are responsible for client relationships, managing the team, building relationships with stakeholders and delivering against budgets and timelines. You should have a proven track record within account handling, knowledge of industry best-practice and a strong commercial acumen.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Key day-to-day project contact with lower to mid-level clients which entails: Partnering with internal teams across various functions (e.g. Broadcast, Print, Digital, Language Services, Project Management) to ensure a smooth process, proper resource allocation, and a superior end result Trafficking the work into the studio and ensuring team members feel personal accountability for deliverables and projects, engaging in all aspects of team assignments driving towards progress, actions and results Developing and maintaining high level of team effectiveness (trust, communication, collaboration, productivity diversity and engagement) Managing project workflows with clients and participating actively at client/cross-agency interactions by being able to clearly articulate the project status at all times and presenting Production (our capabilities, production process, Production POV) Developing, monitoring and delivering against agreed scope, approved budget and committed timeline Owning day-to-day project administration throughout the project lifecycle; meticulously updating and maintaining Project trackers and Finance sheets, and closely working with the Finance team to reconcile estimates to actuals, resolve budget discrepancies if required and close jobs Maintaining multiple internal and TCCC-own platforms Organising and/or attending internal and client meetings/calls; sharing agendas, re-caps and meeting reports Collaborating with other agency partners (e.g. creative, shopper, media, social & influence) and vendors to obtain assets/working files, schedules, technical specifications and copy dates You will have the chance to manage medium-size projects independently, from initiation through to completion, working with interdisciplinary teams of creative, production and technologists to define and develop scopes and estimates of projects, helping to translate creative concepts into clear sets of production deliverables Owning project timeline and budget Managing all client conversations related to productions and communicating changes/ directions to team members Your responsibilities will also extend to responding to generic requests related to our production scope. This may include material requests, collating information needed for client reports and presentations or providing administrative support to the team as required.

You will be required to have a good understanding of all areas of the business to support your line manager and extended team across the board. Communication & Collaboration Consistent display of a professional, calm, approachable demeanour Has strong communication skills; fluent oral and written English is critical (other languages desirable) Possesses an in-depth understanding of account management techniques and is able to proactively suggest improvements in how we manage our engagements should this be required Possesses an accurate sense of client satisfaction level; employs active listening – being sensitive and responsive to client’s needs and concerns – as means to further client relationships Thrives in a muti-disciplinary agency environment and represents Production/a Production POV; ability to seamlessly work with remote teams Focuses on delivering great work and proactively identifies barriers to creating great work (e.g. budget, timeline, quality) Is able to solve problems with a solution that works for all stakeholders without compromising the efficiency or quality of work; if necessary raises larger issues to senior team members

Processes

Multi-tasking will be the order of the day – prioritization and organization are key, and time-management indispensable Resilience and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, content production, technology, quality assurance testing and marketing methodologies, coupled with the continuous hunger to deepen/broaden production knowledge Strong business and commercial acumen related to managing adaptation and production projects; works with Understanding of and adherence to commercial compliance procedures Attention to detail is a must for production excellency Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in account management or project management working in a video, print or digital production role Prior agency experience managing international/regional clients in multiple markets with a diverse set of stakeholders is desired
