Can you reach people with just a few words?
As lead copy team member, they will take responsibility for concept, writing, and presentation of all projects for assigned accounts. They will partner with art directors on brand concept development and provide supervision, mentorship, guidance, and support to copywriters within the Core Brand Team. Finally, they will act as a hands-on copywriter and present ideas internally and to clients. Additional responsibilities may include:
Collaborates with creative, account services, production, and extended team members.Collaborates with editors and owns accuracy and consistency in writing style.Participates in the recruiting, hiring, training, and developing, of copywriters in the group.Keeps up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and related communications industries.Essential Requirements:
5-10 years’ experience in the field of writing with at least 5 of which is concentrated in advertising or healthcare Proficiency in critical software—primarily Microsoft Word.Strong technical knowledge developments of the client's business as well as the agency business; has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.Desired Requirements:
Ability to manage and lead the creative process, workflow, workload, and resources among copy group.Ability to work on a wide- range of accounts and categories.Distributes the workload appropriately based on skill sets and talents.The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $50-$70/hr but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
