If you answered yes to any of the above questions you have come to the right place! Who we are Education First (EF) is the world’s largest international education company, offering global travel and study abroad, language-learning, cultural exchange, and academic programs. EF Educational Tours is one of EF’s products providing educational group travel to students all over the world. The role A Transfer Tour Director (TTD)’s role is to pick up the group and accompany them from the airport to their main Tour Director and vice versa. A TTD is needed when groups are arriving on different flights and the main Tour Director cannot pick up all their groups at the same time. The types of transfers you will lead will include terminal to terminal transfers, airport to city transfers by coach or public transportation. You may also be required to accompany departure transfers from the hotel to the airport at the end of the tour.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  Being part of a pool of freelance TTDs covering transfers throughout the week and weekendsAvailable for shifts of between 3 to 8 hoursMeeting groups of students and accompanying adults at the airportBe the face of EF and represent the company at all timesTransferring groups via coach and/or public transportConnecting with the group’s Tour Director before and during the transferCommunicating with the group at the airport by welcoming them and giving out important safety & practical information.Communicating with suppliers and EF Operations before and during the transfer where applicableEnsuring the safety of the group and their belongingsPurchasing local transportation tickets and handling payments where applicable Requirements:  Fluent written & spoken EnglishYou must be based in MunichAvailable in February, March, April and June/JulyWillingness to work some early mornings from 5am onwardsOrganizational skills & good attention to detailExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsFlexible to adapt to ever changing situationsRemain calm under pressureGood to have: Experience leading groups or as a group leaderFamiliarity with your nearest airportKnowledge of North American cultureStill not sure if the position is for you?
