Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a software developer, you will be working together with other developers and cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver solutions to HDD manufacturing software applications

Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of HDD manufacturing software applications using C#Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and manipulate data in MS SQL databasesCollaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely mannerParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standardsDocument software functionality and technical processesSoftware deployment and evaluate users’ feedbackComply with project plans and industry standardsWork in team with minimum supervision on tight project deadline

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or experienced no more than 1 year Basic knowledge of C#.NET, vb.NET and LINQFamiliarity with MS SQL and ability to write basic SQL queriesUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and methodologiesUnderstanding of development to support abstract factory patterns with Object Oriented approachStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

PREFFERED:

Experience as an Intern - Software Developer or experience in manufacturing-related environment would be an added advantageKnowledge of other programming languages or frameworksFamiliarity with version control systems like Git

SKILLS:

Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written / verbal)Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organizationSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment
