Seeking a friendly, motivated, and task-driven individual to manage the front desk and reception for a Dermatology practice in Tampa and Brandon, Florida. The ideal candidate is a contributor to all thing’s success in the office. A visionary that is a detail-oriented, team player with prior experience in Dermatology servicing medical and aesthetic patients with a passion for providing above and beyond patient experiences with EXCELLENCE. You will be the first point of contact in this role for all our potential, new and existing patients by phone, email, lead tracking, and face to face, upon arrival to the practice. Other duties will include organization of consents, medical records, basic patient guidance and education regarding services and treatments, administrative work, skincare and services sales, and general clerical support.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week are needed
+ Mondays and Wednesdays (8:00am-5:00pm) Tampa office
+ Tuesdays and Thursdays (9:00am-6:30pm) Tampa Office
+ Fridays (8:30am-4:30pm) Brandon Office
+ 1 Saturday a month (8:00 am -12:00 pm).
Pay $19.00-$21.00 Hr
In this role you will perform the following duties proficiently, daily, consistently:
+ Greet, check-in/check-out patients. Print encounter forms. Ensure referral is present if needed. Manage sign in sheets.
+ Collect existing patient balances, Co-pay/Co-Insurance/Deductible payments for visit. Verifying patient insurance benefits for accuracy. Inform patients of collection for services that day based on insurance.
+ Verifying patient contact information for accuracy in EMR.
+ Answers incoming telephone calls. Monitor lobby for cleanliness and tend to patients’ needs with complete intake forms.
+ Schedule, reschedule, cancel and follow up on patient appointments. Enter appointment recalls for reminders as needed upon patient cancellation. Book daily appointment schedule to 50 patients total by accommodating all patient appointment requests.
+ Notify clinical MA when patient is completed with check in process at front desk. Confirm patient ID and insurance cards are scanned into system properly. Distribute and collect new patients forms. Verify HIPAA and Privacy signatures are obtained.
+ Complete end of the day processes. Review and post all pending charges for batch created. Review and scan all encounters for accuracy for the day. Prepare no-show/missed appointments input. Print next day appointment schedule for Dermatologist and Physician Assistant, provide final batch figures, honestly and accurately handle cash and credit card forms of patients. Log off all computer systems.
+ Assist with medication refill request. Review billing status for prior patient visits. Crosstrain/assist with clinical MA duties as needed. Retrieve billing reports for patient balances-contact patients for balance payments/retrieve billing reports for insurance balances due to missing information and fulfill any outstanding request/Verify Prior authorization forms provided as needed and notify patients.
