Front Desk Administrator
Job Title: Front Desk Administrator Job Description We are seeking a Front Desk Administrator to manage the reception area, ensuring effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain a professional environment and culture. The Front Desk Administrator will serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately. This role is essential in maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access, as well as performing other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, and scanning. Responsibilities + Greet, welcome, direct, and announce visitors appropriately. + Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed. + Receive and sort daily mail, shipments, and courier deliveries. + Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access. + Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, and scanning. + Coordinate overall administrative activities for the office. + Manage the Document Control Program. + Maintain a program log for vendors and guests. + Oversee office equipment maintenance, office layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities. + Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resource, Warehouse, and other relevant departments. Essential Skills + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office products. + Customer service-oriented. + Strong administrative and clerical skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work well with others and in a team environment. + Strong organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Needing at least 2 years of customer service experience, or 1 year of receptionist experience + Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus. + Assertive yet friendly personality. + Bilingual Spanish is a significant advantage. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
