Front Desk Associate
Job Descriptions: The Front Desk Associate is responsible for check-in, checkout, kiosk operations, and all other guest transactions they strive to exceed established standards at every opportunity and take pride in the overall look and feel of our brand. Schedule: We are currently seeking both part-time and full-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends. + Shifts include + 7:00AM - 3:00PM Wednesday, Friday, Saturday + 3:00PM - 11:00PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday Pay: $16.00 - $16.50/hour. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position; including experience, skills, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees which may include: + Medical, dental and vision insurance plans + Employer-paid short term disability + Employer-paid life insurance + Additional supplemental insurance policies including: Voluntary Accident & Critical Illness; Hospital Indemnity; Long-Term Disability; Pet insurance + Employer-paid employee assistance program + Fully vested 401k company match program + 9 Paid holidays and competitive PTO program + Sherman Associates' Starbucks and Hotel discounts Essential Functions + Ensures every guest is greeted and Welcomed on arrival + Registers and book guests, verifying reservation, address, email address and credit information + Proficient on kiosk operations to assist when necessary + Answers all inbound calls in a professional manner + Has an intimate knowledge of the hotel facilities and the local geographic area + Accepts payment for guests’ accounts at the time of registration and at checkout + Maintains a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily + Processes all Retail transactions for the guest + Responsible for restocking and assuring overall cleanliness of Retail + Issues luggage claims and check guest luggage when requested + Takes pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel assuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times + Respectfully listen and respond to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner + Completes additional duties as assigned Required Experience: Minimum Requirements + 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position + Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred + Basic computer knowledge and some knowledge in word, excel, outlook, and internet + A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates + Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel Keyword: Guest Services, Front Desk, Administration, receptionist, Hotel, Hospitality, check-in, host, customer service, Duluth, Sheraton, Intern, Internship, Associate, admin, Starwood From: Sherman Associates
