What will you do? Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales from other systems and manual sales sheets. Front desk responsibilities, must be able to resolve guest complaints independently, check-in and check guests out, and post charges for in-house accounts. Understand guest folio, explanation of billing, and how to make any needed corrections. Review pending advance deposits and charges. Quote room rates and room package information. Read group resumes and know the daily activities of the group. Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments. Secure bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies. Answer and direct incoming calls. Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork related to front office operations. Check and balance the daily figures, post room, and tax charges on guest accounts. Perform other duties as assigned. More about you You must be at least 18 years old to apply. Previous experience in cash handling. Previous experience in a customer service environment is beneficial. Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members. Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change. Experience using Microsoft Excel. Must be able and willing to cross-train in night audits.
