Community Health Center (CHC) offers comprehensive, community based, preventive, primary care and wellness services for New Jersey residents of all ages at four convenient locations.CHC health care services are designed to meet the specific needs of the entire family – from annual check-ups and immunizations to sick visits, mental health counseling and critical prenatal care. 

 

We are currently looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at the Freehold Facility. The position would be responsible for providing coordination of the front office operations at the Community Health Center.

Responsibilities Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workersProvides front desk support and interacts with clients and staff in a professional, friendly manner at all timesCreates and maintains client files and medical recordsProvides administrative support to the professional staff and the practice managerManages all financial transactions of the CHC front officeAdheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearanceOmission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position Qualifications High School diploma or GEDPrior medical office experience i.e. telephone, fax machines, copiers, appointment scheduling, medical billing, coding data entry a plusExcellent organizational and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills;bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) preferredStrong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office productsCar and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business office environment within a fast paced healthcare center with heavy customer service, data entry, phone, fax and computer use
