The Night Audit will also prepare all night clerks reports, as well as prepare for the following shift.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent.Two years of college education preferred
Accounting experience is a plus
Experience in a service industry, hospitality preferred
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrate decision-making skills/manager stressful situations
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to multitask
Overnight shift/flexible availability
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper check -in/check-out process is completed efficiently
Thoroughly complete all guest transactions
Promote and sell special hotel programs. Solicit guest feedback
Complete all night clerk reports, and responsibilities
Follow set procedures on closing of daily reports for all outlets
Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers/Supervisor and hotel leaders
Balance daily credit card posting and transmit through company systems for settlement
Notify proper outlets when discrepancies arise. Follow up with the Front Desk Managers/Supervisor and/or hotel leaders and document the situation
Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
Perform all activities in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies
Interact with hotel staff in a professional manner, assisting other department when necessary.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Cross training in PBX, concierge, and bell podium coverage.
Assist other departments as needed.
