Front Desk Receptionist
Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, prospective candidates, and customers. In this role, you will greet guests, manage incoming deliveries, and maintain an organized and welcoming reception area. Additionally, this role will provide administrative support to leadership in the office. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, engaging, exhibit excellent communication skills, uphold our company's longstanding values, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment to customer service.
 

Principle Responsibilities and Duties Welcome guests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor and be the champion for hospitality. Assist visitors with signing in to our visitor system and alert host of their arrival.  Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.  Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.  Manage office supply stock room. Maintain coffee, vending machine and reception refrigerator supplies.  Maintain conference room calendars and prepare conference rooms for meetings. Support event planning and execution as needed, to include ordering catered meals.  Facilitate and coordinate office moves and maintain office seating chart.  Oversee reception area and conference rooms to ensure they appear clean, professional, and appealing.  Provide administrative support for the Engineered Systems Leadership Team. Learn the organizational structure, key individuals, and basic business functions.  Assist with other administrative tasks or duties as needed.  Qualifications Three to five years’ experience in front desk reception or administrative office assistant. High School diploma or GED equivalent required.  Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized, able to multi-task and team oriented.  Must be self-motivated, attentive, and thorough (meticulous/conscientious) Must be able to plan, organize, and execute daily requirements with little to no supervision.  Proficient with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Adobe, Excel, OneNote, and Word. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
