Front Desk Representative

Job Description Summary:

This position serves as the front-line contact for the Fitness Center and provides exceptional customer service. Exhibits a thorough knowledge of all programs, policies, services, and membership rate information as it relates to the assigned area(s).

Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year customer service or administrative support experience required.Current CPR certification successfully obtained within ninety (90) days of hire.Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a fitness facility preferred.Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional and enthusiastic manner.  Handles requests while exhibiting exceptional customer service and timely delivery.Maintains a thorough knowledge of programs, services, and provides membership rate information.Performs check in duties of customers per department procedures.Accurately and efficiently retrieves paperwork and performs data entry for account maintenance of accounts.Maintains a working knowledge of club management software, integrated apps and other necessary computer applications.Registers and/or makes reservations for customers into programs, camps, tennis and fitness orientations.Monitors entry into assigned area(s) per department procedure and protocol. Accurately performs opening and closing procedures per department protocol.Efficiently and accurately handles payments, point of sale entries, end of day reconciliation, and deposits, according to policies and procedures. Stays up to date and proficient in issues related to safety and emergency procedures.Assists with cleaning front desk and lobby area per department procedures.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
