Overview Please apply directly at: https://careers.pyramidglobal.com We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Guest Services team as a Front Desk Supervisor. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality set the example for the team on how to create a memorable first impression for our guests as they arrive for the first time and throughout their stay. The Front Desk Supervisor provides guidance and leadership as the lead Front Office Agent ensuring consistent quality customer service is delivered. This role will supervise and direct the team in offering guests a warm welcome to our hotel/resort, and the assistance with the unloading of guest’s luggage. They will also be the leader of information for the team to serve as a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area as they assist the guest upon checkin. POSITION SUMMARY: Assist all guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk related functions. Maintains high standards of service and hospitality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Handles guest check-ins and outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner. • Utilizes a thorough working knowledge of the reservation system and procedures; takes reservations and knows cancellation procedures and policies. • Resolve guest challenges and take appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction. • Process customer payments according to established procedures and policies including proper cash handling and credit card authorizations. • Efficient communication with other departments of the hotel in order to support special requests, late-checkouts, maintenance needs and guest concerns. • Assist with pre-registration and blocking of reservations. Prepares for group arrivals and departures. • Provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times. • Maintain inventory of office supplies and other items as required by the hotel. • Provide training to new and current employees. • Ensure billing instructions are correctly updated. Ensure billing is correct and made in full. • Serve as Manager on Duty in absence of management. • Uphold standards of performance for Front Office team. • Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management. REQUIREMENTS: • Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills are required. • Must be able to stand for the duration of a shift. Qualifications SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using another combination of skills and abilities. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Basic mathematical skills required. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.Ability to stand, walk and continuously perform behind the front desk. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
