**Job Description** **Front Desk Supervisor - Fairbanks, AK (On-Site)** **Service Excellence. Performance. Integrity. Teamwork. Consistency. Innovation.** We’re looking for an amazing Front Desk professional to join our team at the Fairbanks Westmark Hotel and Conference Center. You will be responsible for the daily operations and activities of Front Desk team. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line and Princess is looking for in its Front Desk Supervisor. Is this you? **_Responsibilities:_** + Supervises the front desk team and activities, processes, and services to meet customer satisfaction and sales goals. + Coordinates hotel inter-department activities and operations to meet customer satisfaction goals and objectives. + Provides customer service and problem resolution within Company guidelines and policies. + Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations. + Participates in departmental interviewing, selection and training. + Responsible for the supervision, performance management, salary administration, and coaching of directly assigned personnel. + Other duties as assigned. **_Requirements:_** + High School diploma or equivalent certification is required. + Experience in hotel front desk operations is required. 1 year experience in a Supervisory role preferred. + Must pass a pre-employment background check which will include a credit check. + Participates in HAP’s sustainability program, aka “Sustain Alaska & the Yukon”, and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment. + Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors. + Must be eligible to work in the United States.
