Front End Engineer, DynamoDB
Amazon.com
Are you interested in building operational interfaces to support some of the largest distributed systems in the world? Do you want to revolutionize the way people view and manage huge volumes of data? On the Amazon DynamoDB team, our mission is to provide customers with best-in-class cloud data services to store, query, and analyze the enormous datasets that their businesses generate. We build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage and use. These are exciting times—we are building an elite team of developers in Dublin to work on ambitious initiatives to keep pace with the global demand for DynamoDB.
We are currently looking for an expert front-end engineer with a strong user-experience background to build operational user interfaces for our customers. We are looking for smart, motivated engineers who are passionate about delivering a world-class customer experience. If you have the skills for building high-performance, customer-friendly products that delight customers, and you are interested in cutting-edge cloud computing, this might be the job for you.
Successful candidates for this position should have a strong background in building web applications using current technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and web UI frameworks such as jQuery, React, and Flux. Experience working with web services and JSON services is desired. Equally important to these specific skills are a candidate's ability to multitask, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable and maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.
AWS is a unique place where you can design and build innovative technologies in a very large distributed-computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
