Crotched Mountain School & Village, a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, is looking for a Residential Counselor to join our outstanding team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of our students.
About Crotched Mountain School:
Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Situated on thousands of acres of preserved habitat, CMS offers a therapeutic environment in which students are encouraged to explore and thrive.

Hours:
Residential Counselors work on a 4-day work week. There are 4 shifts to choose from. Our primary focus is on Front End of the week.
Front End: Sunday 7:00 am – 10:00 pm, Monday-Wednesday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pmBack End: Wednesday-Friday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and Saturday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pmFront End Overnight: Sunday-Wednesday 9:45 pm – 7:15 amBack End Overnight: Wednesday- Saturday 9:45 pm – 7:15 amIf you are interested in working a DAY SHIFT, Monday – Friday, we are also hiring Paraeducators to work 1-1 with our students from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm!
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.Must have a valid driver’s license.High school diploma or equivalent, plus ONE of the following:Associate degree in Human Services, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or similar field.2 years full-time (3,000 hours) working directly with children (verifiable, paid or volunteer).Combination of college credits and working with children that equals the above . Parent of a child over 7 years old.Physical requirements include (but not limited to) bending, stooping, overhead reach, kneeling, lifting a child if needed up to 50lbs.
