Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Sales Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by engaging in various projects that support ABB’s sales efforts. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed, allowing you to showcase your skills while contributing to the success of our operations.The work model for the role is (onsite)Job Type: Part-Time Traineeship About the internship:The ABB Sales Internship Program prepares future leaders through challenging work experiences. The program includes a comprehensive orientation to help interns integrate into the ABB culture. As a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful activities such as:•\tCollaborating with the sales team to analyze market trends and support strategies to engage new customers.•\tAssisting in the development and execution of customer proposals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.•\tSupporting the analysis of pricing, technical aspects, and market data.•\tParticipating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines.•\tUtilizing your understanding of customer needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective strategies, ensuring successful project outcomes.•\tSeeking feedback and guidance from your manager and team members to enhance your performance and skills.
Qualifications for the role\tCurrently enrolled in the 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.\tBasic understanding of electrical engineering and automation concepts, including electrical circuits, power distribution, and industry standards.\tFamiliarity with industry standards: basic knowledge of international standards such as IEEE, IEC, and local electrical/automation regulations.\tExperience with electrical/automation design software, such as AutoCAD Electrical, or other relevant design and simulation software, is a plus.\tKnowledge of the customer and supplier market related to electrical/automation equipment is a plus.\tReadiness for teamwork and collaboration across functions.\tOpenness to personal and professional development in technical and sales areas.\tStrong analytical skills to evaluate pricing and market aspects.\tGood communication skills.
