About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Front-End Web Application Developer to join us. This PowerSuite Web Application developer will assist with the development of front-end web applications that will be built through the PowerApps low/no code environment to support the business processes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projectsEvaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutionsInterface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to WMATA's systemsParticipate in problem resolution related to system design and reviewRecommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applicationsAnalyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup proceduresWork on the development of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards. Qualifications

Education:   

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related IT discipline

Years of Experience:

Four (4) or more years of relevant experience

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

Proficiency developing Power Suite Web applicationsProficiency with relevant front-end programming languages, programming frameworks and tools, and development platforms, including Angular, React, or Vue; HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Bootstrap, JSON, YAMLProficiency with software development and project management methodologiesKnowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all typesDemonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing managementKnowledge of multi-tiered applications such as web services, APIs, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report serversExperience working in an Agile environment with JIRA, Confluence, and GIT

Preferred Requirements:
