Your mission
In his role, the SR Analyst – Process Improvement is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and evolution of all processes and systems related to edging and mounting activities with the LTS team in the Essilor group laboratories and partners. It supports activities in terms of operational methods and procedures for digital surfacing in the various laboratories of the group.
Your main challenges
Support the installation and interfacing of surfacing machines with production labs, LMS/LTS and EHS; Deploy and support changes to edging and mounting methods and processes monitoring procedures; Participate in the development of budgets and manage projects within budget envelopes by evaluating the cost and preparation of requests for implementation projects for new surfacing equipment; Deployment of support for production or analysis tools and software (including Six Sigma); Support the creation and feeding of production monitoring indicators in collaboration with the production and quality teams; Support Essilor Canada laboratories when installing or deploying Rx technologies; Promote the norms and quality standards of Essilor International and Essilor Canada in Canadian laboratories and become their ambassador Propose areas for improving quality, productivity and cost reduction.Your profile
Hold a university degree (an asset in engineering) 8+ years of experience in a similar position; Good analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong knowledge of optics and its manufacturing processes; Knowledge of Rx technologies and optical measuring instruments; Knowledge of LMS and calculation systems (Optifacts RxCP) and communication protocols DCS (VCA), OMA, XML, Opti2.8; Be mobile (able to travel 50% of the time in Canada and occasionally internationally); Ability to analyze and learn quickly; Sense of judgment and aptitude for problem solving; Sense of observation and meticulousness; Strong team spirit; Client orientation ; Bilingualism an asset (French and English)Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
