Young Joni is looking for a Front of House Manager! Young Joni is James Beard Award-winning Chef Ann Kim’s restaurant located in Northeast Minneapolis. Our bustling dining room and back bar has been a Northeast Minneapolis staple for over 8 years. We are currently looking for a Front of the House Manager who can contribute their industry skills and expertise while also learning and growing with us as a leader.  What you’ll be doing as Front of House Manager: In this role, you’ll manage service, nurture a healthy FOH culture and take responsibility for:   + Executing the hospitality vision and managing steps of service for the main dining room + bar, Back bar, and private events + Training, mentoring, and leading an engaged, thriving, high-performing team + Managing front-of-house systems and processes that streamline operations, increase productivity, and ensure financial sustainability + Working closely with the GM and Bartender Lead to maintain quality standards for our bar program What you’ll need to be successful in this position: A passion for people and create a memorable dining experiences, and also: + Effective hospitality and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to teach, learn, and evolve + 5+ years experience in the hospitality industry with a passion for food and beverage + 2 years experience in restaurant leadership or team supervision + Interest and ability to practice highly active, supportive management style while in service + Ability to navigate conflict with an open mind and integrity + Strong communication and organization skills + Basic restaurant and computer software proficiency: we use Toast, Resy, 7shifts, and the Gmail business suite + Availability that includes weekends and nights What we have to offer you: Young Joni is part of Vestalia Hospitality, which is a group of independently-owned, neighborhood restaurants that make a big impact on the lives of our guests and teams.  When you join us, you become part of the curious, creative force that inspires us every day to open people’s eyes to what a restaurant experience could be.   In addition we also offer: + Competitive and equitable salary range that starts at $55,000 - $59,000 annually (negotiable based on experience); 40-50 hours a week with two days off per week + Compensation package that includes:  + Medical Insurance + Dental Insurance + Vision Insurance  + Health Savings Account + Flexible Spending Account + Short-term Disability Insurance  + Employee Assistance Plan  + 2 Weeks of Paid Time Off  + Up to 7 Floating Holidays  + 401k retirement plan with up to a 4% employer match subject to eligibility  + An opportunity to learn and grow within a strong and well-respected restaurant organization + A work environment grounded in values that fosters well-being for every team member Please apply through our online platform, from our Careers page (https://www.vestaliahospitality.com/careers.html) , or bring your resume to Young Joni.
