The Inn at Perry Cabin is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Front of House Manager who has a profound interest in hospitality, a strong desire to build industry knowledge, and a drive to meet the highest standards in our profession. As a Department Head, the Front of House Manager will lead all Front Office operations, while providing efficient, friendly, and excellent customer service at all times; maintain a clean, professional, top quality Front Office in accordance with hotel standards. Ensure the highest caliber of service is being offered to all guests, so that their arrival experience is pleasurable and informative. While no job description can possibly provide a comprehensive list of job duties, the following is a summary of the major responsibilities for the position: Oversee, lead, and assist all Front Desk Supervisors, Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors, Guest Experiences, and liaison with third party company for Door Staff, Valets, Bell staff to ensure orderly workflow, maximum service to all guests and that hotel standards are being maintained. Directly lead Front Office, Guest Experiences and Night Audit staff; interview, hire and train new staff; conduct performance appraisals. Provide performance feedback to the third-party valet, door and bell staff vendor. Provide a strong sense of arrival and welcome; greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and efficient manner; introduce guests personally to front desk agents. Ensure guest’s luggage, storage and deliveries are smooth. Anticipate and lead guest recovery efforts. Escort VIPs to rooms whenever possible. Manage the traffic flow, both human and vehicular; help to direct guest service manpower to the appropriate area to ensure attentive coverage in the circle, at the door, and in the lobby. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby areas, front drive, front desk, bell stand, and bell closet, keeping them all in peak shape. Coach and counsel front office, Guest Experiences, and night audit staff to correct any inappropriate behavior or sub-standard performance. Address immediate concerns with 3rd party vendor for bell, door or valet staff. Oversee payroll including accurate timeclock procedures. Full job description available upon request. Minimum five years’ experience in the Front Office of a Four or Five-Star hotel or Four or Five-Diamond hotel with 300+ rooms, with three years in a management capacity. Previous luxury resort experience of similar scope, locale and amenities is strongly preferred. Experience in Housekeeping is a plus. Strong knowledge and skills in Hotel/Resort PMS systems, Opera is preferred. Additional systems used include Resort Suite and Knowcross. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $85,000.00/Yr. - $85,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
