\nAs a Shift Leader, you will supervise the Front Office operations to ensure consistently delivered exceptional customer service to Guests. The Shift Leader interacts with Guests and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nFront Office Operations: Supervise check-in/out, handle guest requests, and ensure adherence to procedures for payments and credit policies.\nTeam Leadership: Inspire and train team members, conduct shift handovers, monitor performance, and maintain standards.\nCustomer Experience: Ensure high levels of service, address guest feedback, and brief the team on events or VIP guests.\nSales and Knowledge: Drive revenue through up-selling, promote hotel services, and ensure team knowledge of room categories, rates, and local area.\nAdministrative and Operational Duties: Perform financial reporting and closures.\nCollaboration and Compliance: Support other departments, follow brand standards, and maintain effective working relationships.\nWhat are we looking for?
\nThe ideal candidate will be customer driven and an extremely proactive and ‘switched on’ personality with an outgoing, charismatic and approachable character. You will work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and be a great team player, who thrives in working with a multi-cultural team and guests alike, while possessing following additional competencies:
\n\nCore Competencies: Understanding hotel operations, effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability (previous supervisory experience within a hotel environment would be advantage)\nLeadership and Supervision: Experience in front office operations, leadership roles, supervising people, and operations management.\nCustomer and Results Focus: Customer service excellence, drive for results, and problem-solving abilities.\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Opera and IT systems, with excellent English communication skills (additional language preferred).\nPersonal Qualities: Positive attitude, high responsibility, resilience, flexibility, grooming standards, and commitment to self and team development.\n\nWorking hours:
\nAs a Shift Leader, you will be expected to work the hours the business requires- this includes working at night, weekends and public holidays. As the Front Office is a 24 hour 7 day a week operation, we work on 8-hour shift patterns including a morning shift, late shift and night shift.
