Responsibilities: * Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for cloud-based applications. Build and enhance responsive single-page applications using JavaScript frameworks like React, Node.js, and Express, ensuring world-class performance and usability. * API Integration: Work with RESTful APIs and GraphQL to deliver seamless front-end to back-end integration. * Testing: Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and industry standards. Implement and maintain unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks like Jasmine, ensuring code quality, stability and reliability. * Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team. * Collaboration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers and distributed teams to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces, adhering to Agile methodologies and leveraging effective communication and collaboration tools across time zones. * Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth user experiences. * Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features. **Required technical and professional expertise** Experience: 3-8 years of experience in front-end development. Technical Skills: * Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). * Strong proficiency in React.js, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and testing. * Experience with Node.js and Express for building server-side components. * Understanding of RESTful APIs and Graphql. * Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine or Jest. * Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. * Knowledge of task runners and build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment. * Passion for building high-quality user interfaces and a strong desire to learn new technologies. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in an iterative, fast-paced environment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with TypeScript. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Experience with cloud platforms like IBM, AWS or Azure. * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines * Understanding of Kubernetes
