Frontend Engineer, Core Selling Partner Experience

This role offers a unique opportunity to delight millions of Selling Partners by designing, developing and delivering large-scale, multi-tiered modern web applications. We are seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to re-imagine and deliver simplified, best in class web applications to delight our Selling Partners. Key job responsibilities - Design and build new web applications - Interact directly with our users to obtain feedback - Partner with UI Designers and Product Managers to drive new user experiences - Spend some quality, uninterrupted time writing code About the team The Selling Partner Simplification team, within CSPE, focuses on improving the Selling Partner experience across our Seller and Vendor desktop and mobile experiences. We do this through experience consolidation, driving consistency across the Selling Partners experience, and developing new experiences to help our Selling Partners sell successfully on Amazon. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience in computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) - 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 4+ years of agile software development methodology experience - 4+ years experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React Preferred Qualifications - Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node - Experience building reusable UX components or libraries - Experience with AWS Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
