As Quality Management System Associate, you will be accountable for ensuring adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements within the region. This is ensured through the creation as execution of audits programs; of various processes, systems, and documentation to assess compliance with McCain Quality Management System policies, procedures, customer, as statutory and regulations requirements. You will ensure a clear finding reporting system and collaborate cross-functionally on identified areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
The role is based in EU and spanning McC CE activities, comprising of McCain Potatoes, Appetizers
The role of Quality Management System Associate is operational:
Execute audit & compliance program
Under the guidance of the QMS & Digital & Analytics Director, develop documentation to assess compliance with McCain Quality Management System policies, procedures, customer, as statutory and regulations requirements.Responsible for planning and execution of the McCain Quality Management system (KEFSQ)audit within the region. Identify and qualify a pool of internal auditors to ease the execution of the program at the regional level.Support local team with internal audits program and internal auditors training.Responsible for coordinating and planning of the third-party certification (Ex: AIB, BRC, IFS, …) audit programs within the region. Support the plant for audit execution where needed. Assure nonconformities addressed in a timely manner with deep root cause analysis.Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally to document, as regularly updating audit finding CAPA’s in appropriate tools. Work with Customer quality team for organizing and managing customer relations meetings to discuss operational issues, audit planning, and certification strategy/projects. Analyze specific client’s requirements and propose potential upgrade of the McCain Quality Management system.Prepare regular reports on audit findings as compliance status, and present data driven recommendations to management. Establish, implement, and manage key metric related to track continued adequacy of the quality management system as its compliance.
Support the Quality Management system development
Collaborate within the QMS team at regional and local level on the definition, implementation, verification of the processes, procedures, tools related to the QMS.
Food safety culture
Champion a strong food safety culture across the organization, creating an environment where decisions are made in line with the McCain quality value, and drive a technical understanding of food safety & quality, risks and impacts into the business.
About you:
Minimally holder of a bachelor’s degree in a food science discipline.Minimum 5 years or more of experience, working within a food manufacturing organization.Strong understanding of fundamental quality management principles.Certified lead auditor, with demonstrated proficiency in auditing techniques.Effective verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying audit findings, preparing recommendations, compliance status to stakeholders. Expertise in the following standards AIB, BRC, IFS, FSMA, halal as kosherExpert in CAPA management.Knowledge of EU food laws, and U.S/Canadian regulations is a plus.Excellent level of English is a must, additional French, Dutch proficiency is an asset.Basic understanding of organizational strategic goals & objectives. Solid interpersonal skills, assuring cross-functional collaboration as to manage audit findings. Attention to detail & analytical thinking to analyze audit data, identify trends and draw conclusion to audit findings and compliance.Customer focus, dedication to understanding and meeting customer needsIntegrity, commitment to uphold ethical standards, in all activities and decisions, in line with McC code of conductAble to work in a highly dynamic, fast-moving organization. Demonstrate adaptability in responding to changing audit priorities, regulatory requirements, or organization needs.
