Principal Accountabilities 

Collect samples of product for microbiological testingPerform microbiological, physical, and chemical tests on products using lab instrumentsObserve conditions of production area and actions of other nearby stakeholders in regard to applicable policies and regulationAbility to work independentlyRequires the ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlinesAble to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalentMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderBasic math skillsAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to work in cold or hot environments

Preferred Qualifications

Previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experiencePrevious Cargill experienceWork history in the past 12 monthsBi-lingual (English, Spanish)Experience with Microsoft Office
