\nDHL currently has openings for a Full timeService Dockworker agent .TheService Dockworker agent ensure the efficient and timely processing and handling of customer outbound and inbound shipments. Success in this position depends on the ability to ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
\nPay range 26.00-28.00/hr
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nPerform tasks under tight deadlines, including sorting, packing, loading, and unloading containers, while assisting with operational procedures such as shipment processing and documentation.\nPalletize and separate freight/documents, ensuring all delivery materials are ready for shipment and managing over-the-counter payments.\nProvide customer service, sales, and operational support at the Service Center by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and resolving billing issues.\nResearch shipment tracking requests, offering feedback, and attempting to resolve misplaced shipments in collaboration with Sales/Service teams.\nOperate a scanner to record shipping and package information for pickups and deliveries, and drive a forklift while maintaining adherence to work and safety procedures.\nDispatch pick-up and delivery information promptly, arrange daily pick-up schedules, and may assist in preparing import/export documentation and customs clearance in specific markets.\nReport security breaches or unusual occurrences to a supervisor immediately and assist supervisors in orienting, training, and overseeing the work of other employees.\nExhibit good work habits, such as punctuality and compliance with standard work practices.\nSkills & Qualifications:
\n\n\n\nDriver's License with clean driving record\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)\nMust be at least 18 years old\nComputer skills proficient, Customer service & Attention to detail\nClear verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to convey shipment status and operational procedures safely and effectively\nProficiency in managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:
