The primary role for this medical assistant will be doing prior authorizations for patients on medications and imaging studies ordered by NW providers in Washington Co. May also include other routine MA duties such as assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health education. Delivers quality care by offering excellent customer service by participating in a team centered approach towards patient care.

Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care. Prefer experience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation. Excellent PC skills. Currently be certified as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body, BLS / CPR certification. Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision making skills.
