Role Purpose

The purpose of this job is to promote safety compliance within SAPPREF by field assurance and coaching of employees and service providers carrying out work at SAPREF sites. 

 

Key Accountabilities/Objectives:

Provide view of Maintenance and Operations workforce safety behaviours Daily presence in the Field to coach and support the practitioners in maintenance and operations, and their interface, and intervene as needed and identify normalised Practises Maintenance Scope: Conformances to Procedures for High-Risk Activities, such as CSE, Hot Work, Vacuum trucks, High Pressure Jetting, Grit Blasting, Lifting & Hoisting, Working at Heights, Hotwork and use of Gully Sucker, Flange Management. Operations Scope: Provide assurance on the self-verification of Operations tasks, PTW, LOTO, Conformance to Procedures for Operations, Open Draining, Cutting of Lines, Hot Work, Hose Management etc. Conduct PtW reviews and HSE Rules compliance checks. Deviations are reported to the line as well as the HSSE manager.                                                                                                                     Consolidates findings to share systemic themes with Operations & Maintenance staff, and Site Contractor Managers on a weekly basis. Feedback to Management on findings and provide  solutions to blockers
