This position is on day shift from 5pm-5:30am, with a rotating 2,2,3 schedule. This pay for this position is 25.97.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Must be at least 18 years old.  Must be able to read, write, and speak English  Must be able to perform basic artithemic functions in order to understand Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, food security/safety procedures, and follow a pre-start and hourly checklist.  Must be able to communicate effectively with employees from the warehouse and maintenance departments as well as co-workers and to the processing department forepersons/supervisors.

Job Responsibilities: 

Keeping equipment filled with raw materials  Assist in changeover of corrugated and bags  Monitor the quality of corrugated, bags, print on the box and formed boxes  Maintain stock in box maker (i.e. supply of glue end panels and bodies) and bag inserter (i.e. bags)  Adjusts box maker and bag inserter (notifying supervisor if repairs are needed) when needed  Maintains clean room with good housekeeping in mind (following GMP)  Performing work at a safe manner and observes proper safety practices/procedures Turn on main control power and equipment power for proper start-up  Inspect material (box material and bags) for flaws before loading material into the equipment  Complete and document hourly checks on the box makers and bag inserters All other duties as assigned
