This position is on day shift from 4:45PM-5:15AM, with a rotating 2,2,3 schedule. This pay for this position is $25.97. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Must be 18 years of age  Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language Ability to evaulate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments or corrective action as necessary  Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs Basic math skills to be able to perform mathematical functions  Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures  Ability to maintain clean work area according to good manufacturing processes  Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts 

Responsibilities: 

Perform all required temperature and sampling procedures for each incoming load of milk according to written guidelines  Make appropriate hookups from milk truck and transfer product to correct silo  Follow procedures for shipments of condensed milk and cream  Operate and assemble milk pumps properly to eliminate product loss Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices at all times  Communicate as required with supervisors, team leads, other departments, and milk haulers Properly clean and sanitize all equipment as required by company procedures, maintain housekeeping in area and maintain 5S standards Perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct  This position is responsible and accountable to ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan and company policies.  All other duties as assigned
