Job Summary

Fulfillment Specialists attend to customers at the Cirrus Store's Distribution Center in Knoxville, TN. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals purchasing items through multiple channels (ecommerce site, telephone and email), and to internal customers seeking product for company initiatives. They perform pick, pack, and ship functions for all orders and requests, including transfers to other store locations and product for events. Fulfillment specialists receive and process product for all store operations, and they ensure quality control of merchandise during this process. Fulfilment Specialists are responsible for inventory standards, maintaining accurate records, and performing cycle counts, acting as the first line of protection against inventory loss. These functions culminate in the efforts to grow revenue while enhancing the customer experience and building lifelong relationships. 

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Process ecommerce, email, and telephone orders and merchandise requests via pick, pack and ship, using both Domestic and International shipping methods. Receive and process merchandise, ensuring that incoming items are correct to the purchase order and decoration request, labeled for sale appropriately, and delivered to the proper locations depending on their purpose: ecommerce sales, event sales, or shipping to physical store locations for store sales. Perform daily operational duties, including: point of sale opening and store closing, ringing up sales on the point of sale, handling various forms of payments, processing refunds and exchanges, issuing gift certificates and applying coupons and discounts.  Reconcile financial data at the end of each shift and ensure that there are no shortages or overages; explain any discrepancies.  Prepare merchandise for sale at multiple events throughout the year. This includes receiving, transferring, packing, palletizing, and labeling/preparing items for transport. This also includes post-event activities: unpacking, sorting, counting, and transferring items that return post-event to their proper locations (physically and in the retail management system). Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts, and properly process transactions to ensure accurate inventory at all times. Perform product transfers to send merchandise to other store locations as directed by their supervisor. Communicate with team members and customers; answer phones, voicemails and emails in a timely fashion. Manage the main store email communications, with assistance from Supervisor when needed. Support aircraft deliveries by preparing kits and gifts for each customer, as requested by the sales and delivery teams. Maintain a professional and well-organized facility, ensuring all areas are clean, neat and organized at all times. Be crossed-trained to work on the store floor in physical stores and at events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required. Two year’s retail, customer service, or order fulfillment experience. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to quickly learn other programs and systems. Capable to work as a team as well as individually. Adapts easily to shifting priorities. Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time. Driven to achieve goals. Valid driver’s license with good record. Overnight travel and weekend work will be required. Knowledge of general aviation a plus.
