Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Phoenix, Arizona. The selected individual will join our team and play a vital role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting company personnel. Responsibilities: • Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records • Offer assistance and support to company personnel when required • Effectively reconcile accounts in a timely manner • Daily entry of key financial transactions data into the ERP system including payables, receivables, and general ledger • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements • Diligently research, track, and restore any accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies • Compile reports and summaries on activity areas and inform management • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and general accounting • Proficient in bank reconciliations • Excellent command over accounting software and MS Office Suite • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties • Proven track record of successfully managing all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries • Ability to prepare financial statements and reports • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proactive in identifying and resolving financial discrepancies • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
