Description We are offering a role in the construction/contractor industry, located in FORT COLLINS, Colorado, United States. This role involves the position of a Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be tasked with a variety of accounting functions. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable. • Utilize various accounting software systems for diverse financial tasks. • Regularly conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. • Efficiently manage billing functions. • Use Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites for data management and reporting. • Maintain and update the general ledger and make necessary journal entries. • Operate Sage Accounting Software for various financial tasks and reporting. • Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding account statuses and transactions. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar within the Construction/Contractor industry • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with Billing Functions • Expertise in using Sage Accounting Software • Solid understanding of General Ledger • Capable of performing Journal Entries • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
