Description One of our clients is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a 2 month contract. ***Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration*** + Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. + Manage all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment follow-ups. + Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. + Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, including tax filings and compliance with labor laws. + Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. + Track and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, including filing sales tax and use tax returns. + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. + Maintain accurate and organized records for audits and internal reviews. Requirements + Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). + Experience: + 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. + Experience with full-cycle accounting, including payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations. + Technical Skills: + Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas). + Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices. + Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
