Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in our logistics team based in Huntington Beach, California. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be in charge of managing the general ledger, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements. Your role will also involve working with accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to carry out various accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure its accuracy • Perform bank reconciliations to keep track of company expenditures • Prepare and review month-end close procedures and financial statements • Process journal entries to record financial transactions • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to maintain cash flow • Conduct cash flow analysis for accurate annual budgeting • Handle sales/use tax duties to comply with local and state regulations • Utilize computerized accounting systems for efficient financial management • Leverage Microsoft Excel to perform various accounting functions and tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions, including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in creating and managing an annual budget • Capability to perform cash flow analysis • Familiarity with month-end close procedures • Experience in conducting bank reconciliations • Ability to create and manage journal entries • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
