This successful candidate for this position will: + Source, phone screen, and conduct interviews to make candidate recommendations to management + Aid hiring managers in the decision making process by supplying them with any candidate information necessary to make informed, effective hiring decisions + Maintain and update the applicant tracking system + Continuously source in order to maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future hiring needs + Build community relationships (by attending job fairs, program specific conventions, etc.) + Develop a candidate-seeking culture + Strategize ways of finding good talent and ways to retain good talent Position Requirements: + Associate or Bachelor’s Degree and/or minimum 2 years of relevant post-secondary education or training + Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience + Experience successfully sourcing passive candidates preferred + Experience recruiting in the healthcare industry a plus + General knowledge of employment law + Strong proficiency with MS Office, internet sourcing, and proprietary software + Strong interviewing and follow-up skills + Strong written and oral communication skills + Excellent organization and time management skills About our company: Porter and Chester Institute, a leading trade school in Connecticut and Massachusetts for 75 years, adheres to one basic vision: to educate and train our students to the level that will make them competent employees.
