Full Stack Developer
Overview

Job Purpose

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of web applications. The individual will work across the entire stack of application development with strong focus on client-side and will be responsible for UX & UI design and development.

 

The Full Stack Developer will work in a fluid and fast-moving team environment where ideas need to be communicated concisely and effectively.  The individual must be self-motivated and a team player that also can work independently, escalating issues when appropriate. The Full Stack Developer must be able to work well in an agile environment, must be open to constructive criticism in the spirit of improving software quality, enjoys working with modern programming software and can take on complex tasks with little directions.

 

Responsibilities

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practicesUX & UI design and developmentMaintain and enhance a common UI component libraryMaintain and enhance a common UI testing frameworkIntegrate data from RESTful APIsCreate and maintain software documentationContribute towards client-side developmentPrepare and produce releases of software componentsPrepare wireframes and prototypesProvide support throughout software delivery processProvide support beyond business hours when necessary

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field2+ years of proven working experience in Web development2+ years of experience working with React1+ years of experience with TypeScriptExperience with React State Management (Context, Hooks, Redux)Experience developing custom React componentsExperience extending publicly available (open-source) React componentsExperience with functional and class-based componentsExperience with data grids and data virtualization in ReactExperience with AG GridExperience with D3 or similar JavaScript library for visualizations is a plus1+ years of experience in Web-based Automation Framework Development using jest-puppeteer, cucumber-js, playwrightExperience with Testing tools such as Jest, Enzyme, Chai, React-testing-libraryProficiency in HTML5, CSSExperience with RESTful API integrationExperience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQLExperience with WebSocket integration is a plusExperience in creating UI renderings is a plusExperience with the Spring Boot Framework is a plusExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain solutionsAbility to work well independently as well as part of a team

New York Base Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $115,000 - $155,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
