Job Description Generalists that possess a cross-section of skills in the software development process. Using both front-end and back-end technologies, they design and develop whole software applications. In addition to contributing to the application architecture, in charge of writing functional coding, debugging, and system performance tuning.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing and implementing software applications

Developing software components and unit tests

Implementing new features based on business requirements

Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers

Developing and maintaining quality software product code

Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software

Building scalable software solutions

Assisting in enhancing existing software components and adding new features

Writing technical documentation

Design client-side and server-side architecture

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

Write effective APIs

Create security and data protection settings

Build, maintain and configuring cloud infrastructure components

SKILL/TECH STACK

Proficiency in the Java language, with fundamental front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, and server-side languages such as NodeJS, PHP.

Good understanding of database technology such as MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB.

Good understanding of the Linux operating system, cloud-computing technology such as AWS, GCP and Azure.

Good understanding of  platforms written in PHP such as Magento and Drupal.

Familiarity with automation server tools to build and deploy software such as Jenkins.
