A day in the life of a Sr Software Developer

Without your work, data sits idle and useless in a database or even worse: in excel sheets in emails. You are the one combining these sources in real-time distributed systems in ways that can handle large amounts of data loads in real-time and building systems from the backend to the frontend to make the data meaningful, presentable and interactable to users. Data analysts, data engineers, business users, finance and Supply Chain professionals, and fellow software engineers are continuously praising you.

You can sit with team members to help find the best way to get data models to run in production, with you and your team leading the way in how to aggregate the data and process it efficiently.

You talk to the business to ingest new data sources, work with your data engineers to clean and prepare the data, write code that connect it to your applications, and build and maintain the applications themselves.

You think of a new ideas you would like to try out. You start investigating and write it up for the next experimentation day. You ask for feedback from colleagues on your latest ideas.
