Position Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer specialising in applications for the Energy Utilities/ Insurance space.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on creating robust, efficient, and scalable software solutions. Experienced in integrating diverse systems, ensuring seamless communication and functionality across the entire application stack. You will also be the technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Application development - providing scope and effort estimation for various development projects including technical documentation for the same.

Mandatory Skills

Experience with JavaScript Frameworks/libraries like React, Angular or vue.js (MERN stack) Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python or Java Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL or similar. Ability to work with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of RESTful API (Application Programming Interfaces) design and development. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure or GCP (Google Cloud Platform). Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities Adaptability - able to pick up new technologies as and when required depending on the client’s requirements. Experience across the Meat and Livestock and Energy sector.

Roles And Responsibilities

Providing level-3 operational AppsDev Business as Usual (BAU) support which requires a deep technical knowledge of system infrastructure, full stack application codebase, and the capacity to resolve all cloud deployment-related issues associated with applications under management. Undertake backend software engineering and development, with a technical focus on REST API development, microservices, full stack development (MERN Stack) and Android application development. Technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Application development - providing scope and effort estimation for various development projects including technical documentation for the same. Leadership: Take up a technical lead role setting direction for a small team of ~5 developers. Orchestrate and participate in code reviews providing technical governance, quality assurance, and adoption of consistent coding standards. Provide architecture and solution design inputs to ensure the team’s development projects meet or exceed defined requirements. Adaptability: Being able to pick up new technologies as and when required depending on the client’s requirements. Technical Skills- Android, AWS ECS, AWS EC2, Route 53, ELB, PostGreSQL, Oracle DB, Kotlin, NodeJS, ReactJS, ExpressJS, GIS systems (Geoserver), Spring Boot, Terraform Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end components. Implementing and consuming RESTful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to connect web applications with backend services. Testing and debugging applications to ensure optimal functionality across different browsers and devices. Deploying applications to production environments and monitoring their performance. Continuously learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in full stack and mobile app development. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback. Collaborating with UX/UI Designers to ensure a seamless user experience. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise during development and postproduction phases. Technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Application development - providing scope and effort estimation for various development projects including technical documentation for the same.

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional)

Bachelor of The Science of Engineering (BSc), Specialized in Computer Engineering Master in Business Administration (MBA) AWS Certified Solution Architect Certified SAFe 6 Agilist Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
