Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Position OverviewThe Full Stack Developer will put your knowledge of Agile Software Development, DevSecOps practices, Product-based management and User Centered Design for the ICAM NG SSO program.
Responsibilities Provide leadership and work with Software Developers, Operations Engineers, DBA’s, Information Security and Quality Assurance personnel to rapidly develop secure, high quality software in an Agile environmentMentor junior software developers on user-centered design patterns, development best practices and DevSecOps trade-offs.Help build a community of practice that focuses on increasing product delivery frequency with short feedback loops with a focus on continual process improvement.Responsible for development of single page web applications supporting healthcare servicesWeb application will be built using products like Angular, React, Redux, jQuery, Java, and OracleAnalysis and DesignAssist in generating designs which comply with requirements specificationsAssist in determining effort and time that will be required to resolve tasksCodingExecute basic and advanced control constructsUtilize the most efficient method or algorithm for solving a given problemApply logic to fundamental design issuesDevelop software using prescribed coding conventionsDocumentationInternal – Document code internal to a program for data/control constructs and modules/routinesProcess – Generate comprehensible documentation for reference by other developers, engineers, etc. that complies with company standardsExternal – Produce customer documentationExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsTestingPerforms unit testing as necessaryAccomplish integration and/or validation testing Required Experience/Qualifications At least 4 years of total professional Software Engineering experience.Experience building application backends using either Ruby on Rails or Java/Spring-BootAt least 2 years of recent experience building single-page web applications using React or Angular (React is preferred, and experience with associated technologies like React hooks and JSX is highly desired)At least 2 years of experience using a frontend state-management framework such as Redux, Context, etc.Comfortable using JavaScript ES6 syntax (e.g. arrow functions, destructuring assignment, etc.)Good understanding of CI/CD concepts Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience using design frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, etc., to implement responsive designFamiliarity with accessibility guidelines such as WCAG or Section 508 compliance.Experience using REST API servicesExperience using Git for source control Special Requirements/Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
