They allow customer to bring new digital services to market, open revenue channels and exceed customer expectations. IBM API Connect is full-lifecycle API management solution that addresses critical aspects of the API lifecycle for both on-premises and cloud environments providing the capability to create, run, manage, secure and socialize APIs. In this role you will have an opportunity to make a big impact by helping build a global development support team that excels in delighting our customers. This role specializes in performing and enabling development and support of IBM software, hardware, and solutions. **Required technical and professional expertise** Demonstrated experience in software development and customer support environments Good working knowledge of Unix, Linux operating systems, shell-scripting. Proficient in Java, J2EE, Go-Lang,Python and JavaScript. Knowledge of web application development using NodeJS, server-side JavaScript, including test- frameworks such as mocha. Good working knowledge with social coding platform like Github, Git CLI and related tools. Keen interest in new emerging technologies and AI Knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications AWS, Azure. Familiar with CICD processes and Jenkins or other similar CICD tooling. Knowledge in Container technologies Docker and Kubernetes. Working knowledge of testing frameworks like Junit, Mocha. Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Ideally 3 + years’ experience in a similar role Passion for handling technical challenges - be goal and results oriented. Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to advise and help customers with problems. Proven listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work in highly collaborative global organization.
