Full Stack Developer - Drupal (Remote)

ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a Full Stack Engineer. This developer will help re-design and build a new website for government agency committed to improving child welfare. The ICF team performs custom software development and maintenance on a suite of web-based applications. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise. 

What you’ll be doing:

Work in an Agile team (JIRA integration) with clients to build websites and applicationsBuild interactive and responsive Drupal web applicationsImplementing cloud micro-services architectureDesign and build for performance and accessibilityMigrate an existing website from an older CMS to a modern platformAbility to work with Gitlab and knowledge of deploying CI/CD pipelines.Implement the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) pattern libraryWork across the modernization team to integrate related workflow and library systems

What you must have:

Bachelor’s Degree5+ years of software development experience5+ years of professional front end development experience including the use of JavaScript frameworks calling REST API endpoints1+ years of Drupal development or any other CMS1+ years of experience with website migrationKnowledgeable of AWS cloud services – AWS Certifications are a plus1+ years of experience with  HTML, CSS, and Web Standards, JavaScript libraries and linters, browser developer tools and git, building responsive web interfaces (RWD), WCAG guidelines, Web Accessibility, and/or 508 compliance development practicesMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public TrustMUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply​

What we'd like you to have:

Experience implementing pattern libraries, with a strong preference for the USWDS.Familiarity with Content Management systems is a plusKnowledge with library management systems is a plusSkilled in working within cloud development environments and KubernetesProficiency programming languages, like Python or Node.js, with experience in building APIs and scalable server-side applications.Strong knowledge of front-end scripting languages, such as JavaScript, and modern frameworks like ReactStrong communication skills, with the ability to discuss projects and processes clearly and professionallyCapable of working independently, with versatility being highly valuedExperience deploying DrupalAWS Certifications are a plus

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$98,124.00 - $166,810.00
