Full Stack Developer II - Community Association Banking Technology (Phoenix, Arizona)
Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of FCB's Cotton Center in Phoenix, AZ. Our FCB Team is growing, and we are seeking a Software Engineer to come join us! The Software Engineer plays a critical role in creating and maintaining the Strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The Engineer’s role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems in support of the core organizational functions. This individual will utilize effective communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate/resolve issues, opportunities, or problems to maximize the benefit of IT and Business needs. This position supports FCB Community Association Banking Technology. Responsibilities System Enhancement - Developing software solutions, from requirements definition to deployment. Technical Expertise - Participates in special projects and meetings as needed to convey critical technical insight. Serves as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units. Business Support - Provides technical support to production systems by addressing complex issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Utilizes up-to-date coding, testing, security, DevOps, and software engineering practices to maintain and create new applications that support business requirements. Collects and analyzes information to identify customer's technical needs, suggest solutions and develop implementation and integration plans (e.g., technical proposals) Responsible for the analysis, design, deployment, support, and security of technology to ensure the organization is efficiently managing its technology and data-related assets in accordance with market best-practices and external regulations. Exhibits DevOps and Agile mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset Possesses an understanding of User Experience practices to improve usability and interaction between the customer and product Applies a wide application of complex principles, theories, and concepts in computer science for software engineering solutions Provide guidance to less experienced associates in the Scrum Team on Code Quality, DevOps practices and key deliverables. Supports productions systems by resolving complicated issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. Provides 24/7 on call rotations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application software programming Preferred Area of Study: 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science Preferred Area of Experience: up to 6 years' experience with the following: Java and Spring framework and Spring boot technologies, JPA, Hibernate, Azure DevOps; SQL Scripting Preferred Skill(s): Micro Services Architecture Extensive Spring Framework experience with the following projects: Spring Boot 3.X Spring Cloud Spring Security Spring Data JPA Front end UI experience with Angular/TypeScript Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server Hibernate and Liquibase a plus Java 11 or 17 Build tools, Ant, Gradle and Azure DevOps Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems, Proven ability to resolve conflicting situations, to move process and people forward, In depth knowledge and experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
